It's Big Daddy's birthday, and his family is quietly imploding. Dying of cancer he doesn't know about, he's surrounded by sons circling his cotton empire, especially grasping Gooper and Mae. Upstairs, Brick drowns his guilt over a dead friend in whiskey, punishing himself and his wife Maggie, who prowls their marriage bed like the title's restless cat, fighting to reclaim him. Big Daddy's drunken reckoning with Brick exposes the "mendacity" poisoning them all.

When retirees Fern and Wilbur open their haunted Appalachian B&B to guests, a storm strands a mysterious hiker, Abby, who may not be who she claims. Then the real booking arrives—not a skincare retreat, but washed-up actor Demerest Excelsior and his backstabbing entourage: a ruthless producer, a bitter screenwriter, and staff who despise each other. Cut off from help, the group starts dying one by one. Someone here is a killer—and everyone's a suspect before dawn.

When their beloved bridge partner Mary dies, three Southern belles, steady Connie, tipsy Leona, and delightfully dim Millie, do the unthinkable: they "borrow" Mary's ashes from the funeral home for one last game. What follows is a wildly escalating night involving a police raid, a stripper, and Connie's mortified daughter, as three women who've spent decades playing it safe finally learn it's never too late to seize the day....and maybe break a rule or two.

In a provincial Russian town, sisters Olga, Masha, and Irina cling to one dream: escaping to Moscow, the city of their happy childhood. Years pass, love affairs falter, and their brother Andrey gambles away the family estate, yet the sisters never make the journey. Around them, soldiers come and go, marriages disappoint, and ambitions quietly die. Chekhov's masterpiece captures the ache of unfulfilled longing: how life slips by while we wait for it to truly begin.
